This natural processed coffee is from the Gedeo Zone in Yirgacheffe. This coffee is grown at around 1900-2000 masl. The high elevation at which these heirloom coffee cherries are grown allows them to develop more sugars as they are reaching maturity, which shows in the sweet cup. Ethiopia heirloom beans are descended from wild varietals that naturally sprung up in southwestern Ethiopia, and over time have been shaped by terroir and agricultural practices.
