Guatemala: Finca La Bolsa Maragogype
As mentioned in the October article on coffeereview.com! 100% Maragogype from our Direct Trade partners Finca La Bolsa.

This sought after varietal is grown between 1550-1700MASL. The higher altitude gives the cherries a chance to develop more sugars as the nights are cooler, whereas the Maragogype cultivar is typically known not just for its size (the first thing you notice when you open the bag, we guarantee!) but for its subtle nature. Very smooth with a lighter body; lemony citrus, honey and graham cracker, pinot grigio, praline creaminess, milk chocolate.

50 cents from every pound sold on-line and in the cafes will be donated to the La Bolsa Montessori School which serves farm workers' children during the harvest season. The farm built this school on its land specifically for their workers and it serves to educate around 70 children a year.
